Maverent is a property management company based at Calle Pedro y Guy Vandaele 19, Corralejo. We run furnished homes in north Fuerteventura for owners who want occupancy without running a hospitality desk from their phone — mid-term lets, licensed holiday stays, or a mix that actually fits the house.

What we actually take on
Before a home goes live
- Review the address, community rules, and whether a tourist licence (VV) exists or is needed
- Check WiFi, a usable desk, and whether the house works for a month — not only a weekend
- Photography, copy, and a listing on maverent.com (direct booking, five languages)
- Pricing from live demand in Corralejo and the north, not a copied OTA template
Guests and calendar
- Screening: stay length, guest fit, and a house we can stand behind
- Messaging in English, Spanish, Italian, German and Dutch — we are the number they write to
- One calendar. No three-portal collisions and no 23:00 “is this booked?”
- Check-in instructions and access that works
Care of the house
- Cleaning and linen between stays
- Maintenance coordination with local trades when something breaks
- You stay informed. You do not chase WhatsApp groups of cleaners and locksmiths
Stay model — this is the fork
- Mid-term furnished lets for people working from the island or staying a season
- Licensed short stays where the tourist registration and the building allow it
- A clear no if the home only works as high-turnover tourist stock on Airbnb and Booking
About VV licences right now
Mid-term furnished lets: no VV needed. Different legal category. Licensed short-stay: VV required, plus your building’s community rules matter. New VVs are frozen right now in Fuerteventura. When that reopens, we guide you through the paperwork.
We check your address and community rules before anything goes live.
Mid-term vs licensed short-stay
| Criterion | Mid-term let | Licensed short-stay |
|---|---|---|
| Guest type | Remote workers, longer stays | Tourists, weeks or weekends |
| VV licence needed | No | Yes |
| Typical gross rent (Corralejo) | €1,800/mo (2-bed apt) | from €5,000/mo (3-bed villa) |
| Turn rate | Low — monthly or seasonal | High — 3–7 nights average |
| Community rules impact | Minimal | High |
| Best for | Steady income, less operations | Prime location + licence |
Why this is not a south-island holiday mill
The page ranking for “property management Fuerteventura” is usually a holiday-villa operator: Airbnb and Booking, guest check-ins, a collection of design homes. That is a real product. It is not the only product, and it is a poor default for a quiet apartment a remote worker would live in, or a house that should not turn every three nights.
We manage a small portfolio in the north and match stay length to the building. If a home is only viable as high-turnover VV stock on the big OTAs, we will say so on the call instead of forcing it onto our site.
How Maverent compares
| Criterion | Maverent | OTA-only (Airbnb/Booking) | Self-managed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who talks to the guest | Same team that manages your home | You, or a virtual assistant | You |
| Pricing model | 20% of net after OTA (and tax) | 15–20% Airbnb + separate cleaner + separate manager | Your time |
| Cleaning & linen | Included in the fee | You coordinate | You coordinate |
| Stay length focus | Mid-term + licensed short stays | High turnover, weekend-heavy | Whatever you post |
| Direct booking | Yes, on maverent.com in 5 languages | No — you pay OTA fees on every stay | Rare |
| Says no to bad-fit homes | Yes — call this a feature | No — every listing accepted | N/A |
What owners typically earn

Owners we work with
“We live in Germany. They hold the calendar when we fly in and run the house the rest of the year. We are not the 23:00 WhatsApp.”
“Mid-term guests, one operator, five languages. The apartment actually gets used instead of sitting empty between our own trips.”
“They said no to forcing it onto Airbnb as weekend stock. That call saved us a fight with the community.”
How we start with an owner
1. Leave a number
Address, bedrooms, and a phone. We call back — no setup-fee pitch on the first conversation.
2. We look at the house
Licence, community rules, WiFi, layout, and whether mid-term, licensed short stay, or neither is honest.
3. Live on maverent.com
If we take it, the listing, calendar, guests and turns sit with us. You are not the operator.
Homes we manage in Fuerteventura
Proof of work, not stock photography. These are live listings we operate today in Corralejo and Majanicho.
Property management in Corralejo (and the north)
Corralejo — our base
Our base. Villas, chalets, lofts and apartments within reach of the harbour, the dunes, and the café / coworking circuit remote guests actually use.
Majanicho and the north coast
Quieter houses that work for longer stays — wind, space, and guests who are not looking for a resort strip.
Lajares
Surf town, north-inland. More villas and chalets than the resort strip — mid-term often fits better than weekend tourism.
El Cotillo
West coast fishing village and surf. Mixed stock, growing mid-term demand, less harbour-strip noise.
La Oliva
Municipal capital, mostly residential. Larger properties that tend toward mid-term or longer rather than short-stay.
Who you are actually calling
Maverent is run from Corralejo, not a mainland call centre. The same team that answers owners answers guests — before and during the stay.
We are part of Dunedain Group. The story of why we built this (remote work first, tourist OTA second) is on the about page. We do not take every property; a small, well-run book beats a long list we cannot service.
Questions owners ask
- Do you offer property management in Fuerteventura?
- Yes. Maverent is a property management company in Corralejo, Fuerteventura. We manage furnished villas, chalets and apartments in the north of the island — listing, calendar, guests, cleaning and maintenance — for mid-term stays and licensed short stays.
- Which homes do you manage today?
- A small live portfolio in Corralejo and Majanicho, including Casa Catalina, Jable 5, Jable 6, Casa Brujula, Casa Roca, Casa Faro, Casa Ducale and Casa Alisia. Each is listed on maverent.com.
- Which areas of Fuerteventura do you cover?
- Corralejo and the north (Majanicho and nearby residential areas we can service to the same standard). We are not a south-island holiday-rental operator in Morro Jable or Costa Calma.
- Do I need a tourist licence (VV) for you to manage my home?
- It depends on how the home will be let. Classic short-stay holiday rentals marketed as tourism usually need the correct tourist registration. Mid-term furnished lets are a different use. We review your address and community rules before anything goes live.
- Do you list on Airbnb and Booking.com?
- The guest-facing product is direct booking on maverent.com, in five languages, without OTA markup on the guest side. That is the opposite of pouring every house onto thirty portals as interchangeable holiday stock. If a home only works as licensed OTA tourism, we will say so rather than pretend otherwise.
- How do I start?
- Leave your number on this page or WhatsApp the Corralejo team. We call back, look at the property, and tell you plainly whether we can manage it and on what model.
